Letter to B.M.Tulloch says 19 years back from marriage in 1869 which would put birth between 17/Nov/1849 and 16/Nov/1850

Does not appear on the 1851 census.

Does appear on the 1861 census, but aged 7.

Conflicting dates of birth.

EMBO suggests 1849

Letter to B.M.Tulloch suggests between 22/Oct/1855 to 21/Oct/1856 (Marriage at 17 on 21/Oct/1873)

Appears on the 1851 census, as a 6 year old, but as a 9 year old on the 1861 census. Perhaps two people, a child that died and a second child where that had the same name?
